Martha Black

Martha Black holds a PhD is Linguistics and Language Acquisition from Western University (Canada) and an MA in Foreign Language Pedagogy from the University of Delaware (USA). She has been working in the fields of language education since 2012 and in applied linguistics and language acquisition since 2015. Martha joined the STAR-FLE research team in September 2024 as a post-doctoral researcher, based at the Laboratoire Parole et Langage (LPL) at Aix Marseille Université in Aix-en-Provence, France. She is heading the study design, data collection, and data analysis for the project.
